North Texas SC tastes defeat in consecutive games for the first time

Chattanooga - (August 3, 2019) - North Texas SC was reduced to 10-men for the second consecutive game and was unable to respond to Steven Beattie’s 54th minute penalty.
Game Summary
First Half:
- 14’ – Ricardo Pepi found some space on the edge of the box after a clever turn, but he could only drag his shot wide.
- 23’ – Vangjel Zguro came forward and fired a goal-bound shot, but Carlos Avilez got down quickly and parried the low drive to safety.
- 41’ – Vangjel Zguro’s free kick from 25 yards was whipped in, but it went high and wide of Avliez’s goal.
Second Half:
- 51’ – Sito Seoane ran onto a bouncing ball at the edge of the box but his shot flashed past the far post.
- 53’ – A foul in the box by Bicou Bissainthe on the edge of the box gave Chattanooga a penalty.
- 54’ –Red Wolves forward Steven Beattie stepped forward and his penalty found the bottom left corner to give his team a 1-0 lead.
- 65’ – Ricardo Pepi bent a free kick around the wall, but it went just wide with Alex Mangels scrambling.
- 70’ – Bicou Bissainthe was given a second yellow card for a foul in the midfield, and North Texas was reduced to 10 men.
- 90’+6’ – A ball bounced clear in the Red Wolves box, but Mangels got to the ball just ahead of Pepi.
