FRISCO, Texas - North Texas SC midfielder Kalil ElMedkhar was named to the Week 27 USL League One Team of the Week for his performance in the club's 1-0 win over Fort Lauderdale CF Sunday night.
ElMedkhar assisted the game's only goal when he received a through-ball from Blaine Ferri and played a pinpoint low cross that evaded both the defender and goalkeeper for Gibran Rayo to smash home. ElMedkhar has now registered four assists to go along with his four goals this season. It's the winger's sixth Team of the Week honor from just 11 USL League One appearances this year.
