FRISCO, Texas - After a five-month layoff, FC Dallas resumes its season with a near full-strength squad to face Nashville SC at Toyota Stadium on Aug. 12 at 7:30PM CT. Here is your Texas Health Sports Medicine Injury Report for FC Dallas' first of two back-to-back matchups against newcomers Nashville.
NASHVILLE SC
OUT: None
QUESTIONABLE: Dominique Badji (quad), Jimmy Medranda (hip)
Dominique Badji's return to Toyota Stadium is under some doubt after the former FCD forward was listed as questionable with a quad injury. If Badji isn't ready by Wednesday night, Nashville head coach Gary Smith may turn to Daniel Armando Ríos (who replaced Badji at halftime in Nashville's last outing) to lead his forward line. Versatile Jimmy Medranda is also questionable for Wednesday while dealing with a hip issue.
FC DALLAS
OUT: Brandon Servania (adductor strain)
QUESTIONABLE: None
FC Dallas' squad is all ready to go with the exception of midfielder Brandon Servania. The US international is dealing with an adductor strain but, luckily for Luchi Gonzalez and FCD, central midfield is one of the team's deepest positions. Any combination of Bryan Acosta, Tanner Tessmann or Edwin Cerrillo can fill Servania's spot as the box-to-box midfielder in Luchi's preferred 4-3-3 formation.
