FC Dallas Youth is excited to announce David Hoffmann as our West Division Director of Coaching. Hoffmann has been with FC Dallas since 2015 as a Youth Coach.
“David brings years of experience to the position of leadership for our West Division. His knowledge of the game, high moral character, and familiarity with the area makes him the perfect choice to lead FC Dallas West, and support our players and coaches in Tarrant County and the surrounding areas,” FC Dallas Youth Vice President and Academy Director Chris Hayden said.
In addition to working with FC Dallas Youth, Hoffmann has been the University of Dallas Head Soccer Coach since 2003. He is the winningest coach in the school’s history across all sports with a record of 161-145-21. He has also been on the Classic Soccer League Executive Board as Club Representative from 2013-21.
"Having grown up in Colleyville, I have a special affinity for soccer in this area. I am hopeful that my decades as a university coach, volunteering on local league boards, NCAA assignments, as well as work with CONCACAF, MLS/SUM, Dallas Sports Commission and World Cup organization will give me a global perspective for soccer in the area. I hope to have a positive influence on our players and families experience, in the player's development into young men and women with a lifetime passion for the sport, as well as being a part of their development as players no matter how high or modest their goals may be,” said David.
“Day to day, David will be involved with leading our coaching education, and supporting the player development model and pathway for every player in our West Division,” said Chris Hayden.
“We are really excited about adding someone with David’s experience to lead the FC Dallas West division. His leadership and college connections will be a huge plus to our girls’ teams,” said FC Dallas Youth Girls’ Director of Coaching Chris Ring.
The future is bright for our West Division under David’s direction.
