FRISCO, Texas (July 16, 2026) – FC Dallas Homegrowns Jaidyn Contreras and Josh Torquato have been named to the United States U-19 Men's National Team roster for the 2026 Concacaf U-20 Championship. The team will hold a training camp from July 16-21 before opening tournament play on July 25. The 2026 Concacaf U-20 Championship runs through Aug. 10 in Mexico.
Contreras earns his second U.S. U-19 call-up of 2026. The winger signed his Homegrown contract with FC Dallas on Jan. 6, 2026, during the club's annual Homegrown Day. This season, Contreras has made 11 appearances for North Texas SC, recording one goal and two assists.
Torquato earns his second U.S. U-19 call-up after receiving his first selection during the March international window. The 44th Homegrown signing in FC Dallas history has made nine appearances for North Texas SC this season. Torquato made his FC Dallas debut on June 14, 2025, in a 4-2 win over Sporting Kansas City, becoming the seventh-youngest player to start an MLS match for the club at 17 years, 357 days old. He appeared in five MLS regular-season matches in 2025 and made his MLS Cup Playoffs debut in Game 1 of the Audi 2025 MLS Cup Playoffs.
The United States was drawn into Group A and opens the tournament against Haiti on July 25. The team will face El Salvador on July 28 before concluding group play against Cuba on July 31. All three matches will be played at Estadio Universitario BUAP in Puebla, Mexico, with kickoff set for 9 p.m. CT.
