FRISCO, Texas – Four different FC Dallas Girls Academy teams will compete for the 2024 Dallas Cup title in their respective age brackets after a handful of semifinal victories Thursday evening.

There are four age brackets on the girls’ side of this year’s Dallas Cup (U15, U16, U17 and U19) and each will feature an FC Dallas Academy team in its championship match. The finals will be played in Toyota Stadium Friday morning beginning at 8AM CT.

FC Dallas’ 09 ECNL team, competing in the U15 bracket, defeated the FC Dallas Youth RL 09 squad 4-0 in its semifinal thanks to goals from Catelyn de Moor, Leyla Iglesias and Zoe Puente. Coached by Matt Grubb, the 09 ECNL team will face local rivals Solar Soccer Club in the U15 final at Friday morning 8AM in Toyota Stadium. At the U16 level, FCD’s 08 ECNL team also defeated FCD RL 08 4-0 with Keira Floyd, Maren Brewster and Emeline Holder on the score sheet. They’ll also take on Solar at Toyota Stadium at 10AM CT.

The FC Dallas Academy U17 team (ECNL 07), who won the Dallas Cup the previous two years at the U15 and U16 levels, will have the chance to go back-to-back-to-back Friday morning when they take on Germany’s Eintracht Frankfurt for the U17 title at 12PM CT. Led by coach Gareth Evans, the U17s defeated San Bernardino FC 5-0 on the back of goals from Kiara Gilmore, Isabelle Traub, Samira Minor and Charli Harris. They’ll compete with a Frankfurt team that reached the final after a 1-0 win over Canada’s Elite XI.

At the U19 level, the FC Dallas ECNL 05/06 team will face the Australian School Girls after advancing to the final via an opponent forfeit. They have a chance for revenge after the Australian School Girls knocked out the FCD RL 05/06 team in the semifinal by a score of 3-0. The U19 final kicks off at 2PM CT in Toyota Stadium.
