FRISCO, Texas (Wednesday, Feb. 12) – FC Dallas has acquired midfielder Hendry Thomas from the Colorado Rapids in exchange for allocation money. Per league policy, terms of the deal will not be disclosed.
The Honduran international joined the Rapids midway through the 2012 season and started the final eight games of that year before claiming 27 starts in 2013 with two goals and one assist for the Rapids. Thomas made 49 appearances for Wigan Athletic of the English Premier League before joining the Rapids in 2012. Thomas, 28, began his career with Club Deportivo Olimpia of the Honduran first division.

Thomas appeared in the 2010 World Cup and the 2008 Olympics for Honduras. His most recent cap came in September of 2011.
