2015

FC Dallas dominated the series, winning all three games against Houston, while outscoring their foes 10-2. David Texeira scored three goals, while Mauro Diaz and Fabian Castillo scored twice.

2014

FCD defeated Houston 4-1 on the road in the only regular season match of the season, then added a 3-2 extra time victory in Open Cup play thanks to a Tesho Akindele winner.

2013

FCD's Kenny Cooper scored the game-winning goal in the 90th minute to earn a 3-2 win. Dallas also won 3-0 with Cooper adding two more goals in Open Cup play.

2012

In the lone match of the year, Houston defeated Dallas, 2-1. Jair Benitez was handed a red card for FCD.

2011

FCD split the spoils at Robertson Stadium, returning home with an important point in the rivalry's opening game, but Houston nabbed an El Capitán winner in the 87th minute of the second meeting.

2010

Dallas took El Capitan outright for the first time, winning on the road and drawing at home to come out on top.

2009

The Dynamo took two of the three matchups, including one on the road. There were two shutouts this season, one for each team, in what was a relatively low-scoring Derby year.

2008

Split down the middle, the spoils were shared amongst the two sides this year. Every match featured at least two goals and Dallas won El Capitán via an away goals tiebreaker, 4-2.

2007

In six total matches, Houston stayed on top with three regular season wins and one draw. The lone victory for FC Dallas was the first leg of a playoff matchup, a series that FCD lost on aggregate, 4-2.

2006

FC Dallas fell 4-3 in a back-and-forth opening match of the in-state rivalry. Houston would take the series with a 2-1-1 regular season record and a 3-0 Open Cup win.
