North Texas SC signed midfielder Hope Kodzo Avayevu on Nov. 20, 2020. Avayevu joined the club on a three-year contract with an option for the 2024 and 2025 seasons. Avayevu, 18, is a product of the Faith Soccer Academy of the Ghanaian Football Association. He was a standout performer in the 2019 Dr. Pepper Dallas Cup with Bechem United FC.
