STANDINGS: FC Dallas Maintains Western Conference Lead After Week 24

FRISCO – FC Dallas picked up a second consecutive loss for and the first time in over a year, but their lead in the West still remains after Week 24's action.

Dallas will come back home and face Minnesota United FC on Saturday. Minnesota is coming off of a 2-2 draw against the LA Galaxy. Romario scored the game-tying goal for Minnesota in the 84th minute. The trip to Dallas will be the Loons' second match during their five-game road trip.


After the draw, Minnesota remains in ninth place in the conference.


Portland had the opportunity to come within two points of Dallas for first, but they suffered their first loss since April 8 after a 2-1 defeat to Vancouver Whitecaps FC. It was also the team's first home loss of the season and NYCFC is the only club who has not yet dropped a home match this sea


Sporting KC leaped over Portland in the standings after a 2-0 win over LAFC. After losing four of five games, Sporting has rebounded with two wins, both coming on the road. LAFC is tied for fourth in the conference with the LA Galaxy.

Real Salt Lake continues to stay in the last playoff spot after a 1-1 draw vs. the Montreal Impact. RSL heads to LA on Wednesday to play LAFC before going to Houston on Saturday.

Seattle has pushed all the way back and is now only three points from the conference's final playoff spot. They have won five consecutive games and will host the LA Galaxy this weekend.
