Carson, CA (July 7, 2021) – FC Dallas (2-5-5, 11 points) falls to LA Galaxy (8-4-0, 24 points) 3-1 Wednesday night at Dignity Healthy Sports Park.

Game Summary

First Half:

  • 8’ – SHOT (LA) – Kévin Cabral headed in a through ball from Victor Vázquez but Jimmy Maurer pushed it wide.
  • 17’ – GOAL (LA) – LA Galaxy’s Ryan Raveloson headed in a cross from Victor Vázquez corner to give them a 1-0 lead.
  • 27’ – GOAL (LA) – Sebastian Lletget’s backwards cross fell to the feet of Kévin Cabral who slotted into the bottom corner to extend the lead to 2-0.
  • 37’ – SHOT (FCD) – Bryan Acosta’s shot from far out goes wide right of the goal defended by Jonathan Bond.

Second Half

  • 51’ – GOAL (LA) – Ethan Zubak takes advantage of the mistake by the FC Dallas backline and dribbled past Jimmy Maurer to put the ball into the back of the net and increase the lead to 3-0
  • 58’ – SHOT (DAL) – Jesús Ferreira’s free kick on the left side of the field connected with Facundo Quignon’s head inside the box and it was comfortably dealt with by Bond.
  • 71’ – GOAL (DAL) – Franco Jara receives a long pass and pokes the ball out of the reach of Bond to be able to put the ball into the back of the net and cut the lead to 3-1.
