Sandy, Utah (September 4, 2021) – FC Dallas (6-10-7, 25 points) fell 2-3 to Real Salt Lake (8-8-6, 30 points) at Rio Tinto Stadium on Saturday night.

Game Summary

First Half:

  • 19’ – GOAL (DAL) – Jesús Ferreira linked with Franco Jara inside the box who turned and poked the ball into the back of the net to give FC Dallas the 1-0 lead.

  • 72’ – GOAL (RSL) – Jonathan Menéndez laid the ball off to Albert Rusnák whose power shot from the edge of the box managed to get past Phelipe and extend Real Salt Lake’s lead to 3-1.
  • 80’ – GOAL (DAL) – Jesús Ferreira dribbled his way into the box and beat two defenders in the process before slamming the ball into the roof of the net to pull one back and make it 3-2.
