The club opens its season on April 24 at Globe Life Park against Fort Lauderdale CF
FRISCO, Texas (March 22, 2021) – North Texas SC released its full 2021 season schedule today. The club will begin its 28-game season at home at Globe Life Park in Arlington against Fort Lauderdale CF on Saturday, April 24 at 7:30PM, in a match presented by MTX, before traveling to face reigning champions Greenville Triumph SC on May 1 at Legacy Early College.
After facing Greenville away, North Texas will host back-to-back home matches first against Chattanooga Red Wolves SC on May 8 followed by South Georgia Tormenta FC (5/16). The club will then take part in Toronto FC II’s home opener on May 22 at Grande Sports World in Casa Grande, Arizona. The club will close out the month with a home match against Toronto FC II on May 29.
June sees North Texas play three matches over the month. The club will remain at home for the first two games, facing Greenville Triumph (6/13) and FC Tucson (6/19) at Globe Life Park before traveling to Gillette Stadium to face New England Revolution II on June 26.
North Texas opens July with an away match against Richmond Kickers (7/3) at City Stadium before hosting Forward Madison FC (7/10) in the season’s first edition of El Plástico (the nickname for the clubs’ friendly rivalry which began in 2019). North Texas will remain at Globe Life Park to host Chattanooga Red Wolves (7/17) before going on the road to face Union Omaha on July 31.
August sees North Texas play a season-high four away matches beginning with FC Tucson at Kino Sports Complex (8/7). In its only home match of the month, North Texas SC will play North Carolina FC for the very first time on Aug. 14. North Carolina moved from the USL Championship to USL League One beginning in 2021. North Texas then embarks on its longest road game stretch of its season, facing Chattanooga Red Wolves (8/17), Forward Madison (8/21) and Union Omaha (8/28).
North Texas returns home to host FC Tucson on Sept. 4 before going back on the road to play Chattanooga (9/8) and Tormenta FC (9/11). The club then faces Union Omaha at Globe Life Park (9/19) and closes out the month away to North Carolina on Sept. 26, which will be its first-ever trip to WakeMed Soccer Park.
The final month of the regular season sees North Texas play FC Tucson away on Oct. 2 before returning home to take on the Richmond Kickers (10/10). The team will play its final away match against Fort Lauderdale CF at Inter Miami CF Stadium on Oct. 17. North Texas will return home to face New England (10/23) before ending its 2021 regular season against Union Omaha on Oct. 30 at Globe Life Park.

Tickets for all regular season home matches are on sale at https://www.fcdallas.com/northtexassc/schedule. The 2021 USL League One Playoffs will consist of the top six teams from the regular season. The entire 2021 USL League One season will be broadcast on ESPN+ in the United States.
