FRISCO â€” Just hours after FC Dallas suffered a 3-0 loss to the New York Red Bulls Saturday night, FCD's Adonijah Reid scored three goals against the Red Bulls' USL team for Ottawa Fury FC in a 3-0 win on Sunday.


Reid had not recorded a goal in his first 12 matches of the year for Ottawa Fury FC, but he got going early against New York. 


He took a pass near the top of the box and finished the ball in the bottom right corner in the third minute.

In the 57th minute, Reid made a perfectly-timed run off a teammates header and had a one-on-one with the goalie and found the far post for his second goal of the game.


The hat trick was completed in the 64th minute as Reid made a run from midfield and showed off his speed to beat the defender to the ball. He then beat one defender to the inside and finished with his left foot.

Reid is now tied for first for Ottawa in goals scored and is tied for second on the team for chances created, with 12.


Brandon Servania and Francis Atuahene were also in USL action during the weekend.


Servania started for Tulsa Roughnecks FC. He played 45 minutes in the team’s 6-1 loss to Orange County SC. He completed 12 passes and had one shot.


Atuahene came in to the game for OKC Energy FC in the 76th minute. He was able to draw two fouls in his time on the field and won five-of-six duels. He also was on the field for lone goal of the game, as OKC defeated LA Galaxy II 1-0.
