Theo Bair played a ball across the six-yard box and Reid was able to beat the goalie to the near post.

“I saw in the game that Guadeloupe left a lot of gaps," Reid said. "I thought we could capitalize off that, so I thought when I came on I could get a goal at least to help the team get the victory. I am glad I did and I am happy to help the team win.”

Reid was handed a yellow card in the 86th minute, but Canada was able to hold on. With the win, it moved to 2-0 in Group D of the Concacaf U-20 Championship.
