FRISCO, Texas - Luchi makes two personnel changes as FC Dallas takes on Nashville SC for the fourth and final time tonight, Nov. 4 at 7:30PM at Nissan Stadium. Here's this evening's lineup notes, pres. UnitedHealthcare.
Pepi Hype
Forward Ricardo Pepi starts in place of FCD leading scorer Franco Jara who didn't travel to Nashville as a precaution while dealing with a minor injury issue. It'll be Pepi's third start of the season but his first as the lone striker as his previous starts have come on the wing. The 17-year-old U.S. youth international has two goals and one assist so far this year.
Nelson Returns
Defender Johnny Nelson is back in the starting lineup for the first time since September as he steps in at left back allowing Ryan Hollingshead to move further forward to the wing. Nelson made a great account of himself in Dallas' last outing against Houston after replacing Bryan Reynolds for the second half due to injury. Tonight is the 22-year-old UNC product's eighth start and 11th appearance of 2020.
Hollingshead on the Wing
The FCD Swiss Army knife Ryan Hollingshead shows his versatility once again tonight as he moves from his usual left back spot to left wing. He replaces Fafa Picault who, like Jara, didn't make the trip to Nashville as a precaution due to a minor injury concern. FCD is hopeful that both Jara and Picault will be available for its Decision Day match vs. Minnesota United on Sunday. Hollingshead has shown his ability in the opponent's final third recently with three goals in his last 10 games; a tidy tally for a defender. It's Hollingshead's 18th start of the season.
