2020 Lineup Notes DL V2

FRISCO, TexasLuchi gives goalkeeper Phelipe his MLS and FC Dallas debut for today's Decision Day matchup against Minnesota United FC at Allianz Field at 5:30PM. Here's today's lineup notes, pres. UnitedHealthcare.

Phelipe in Goal
Brazilian goalkeeper Phelipe gets his first taste of MLS action as he steps in for usual starter Jimmy Maurer, who didn't travel as a precaution after sustaining a minor injury last time out in Nashville. The 21-year-old Brazil international is on loan at FCD from Grêmio and has made Dallas' match day roster 12 times but will make his competitive debut today. Also, Kyle Zobeck returns to Dallas' subs bench for the first time since September.

Pepi Starts Again
Forward Ricardo Pepi gets his second consecutive start at striker in place of FCD's leading scorer Franco Jara who returns to the match day squad after missing the last game with a small muscle issue. The 17-year-old played 80 minutes and nearly got on the scoreboard last time out against Nashville and he'll get another chance to add to his season tally of two goals. It's Pepi's fourth start of the year.

Mosquera Returns
Midfielder Santiago Mosquera gets his fifth start of the campaign and his first start since late September. He was unavailable for a six-game spell while dealing with a muscular injury and made his return as a substitute in last month's Texas Derby. The Colombian has four goals on the season.
