2019: Appeared in 23 regular season matches (12 starts) for FC Dallas this season. Scored three goals and recorded two assists in 1,171 minutes. Scored first goal of the season in the 2-0 win on July 4 vs. D.C. United in the 6th minute. Scored second goal of the season on August 13 vs. Minnesota United FC in the 32nd minute. FC Dallas won 5-3. Scored his third goal of the season in the 51st minute and had one assist in the 6-0 win against Sporting Kansas City on Oct. 6. Mosquera assisted Matt Hedges in the 12th minute. In the playoff match against Seattle Sounders, he led all of the substitutes with two shots on target, five crosses, and five duels.
2018: Mosquera appeared in 29 MLS games (17 starts), one playoff game, two CONCACAF Champions League games and one U.S. Open Cup game. He scored six goals and added six assists across all competitions. Made his FC Dallas debut in the 1-0 loss against Tauro FC on Feb. 21 during the CCL tournament. Earned the opening-day start vs. Real Salt Lake on March 3. Scored his first MLS goal on April 29 vs. New York City FC. Notched his first assist on May 5 vs. Los Angeles FC. Recorded his third assist on May 25 vs. Toronto FC and fourth assist on June 29 vs. Minnesota. Scored his second goal on August 29 vs. San Jose Earthquakes. Scored two goals and created two chances in 4-2 win over Houston Dynamo on Sept. 1. Drew three fouls and scored a goal vs. Vancouver Whitecaps on Sept. 23—making it four goals in his last four games. Scored his sixth goal of the season in a substitute appearance vs ORL on Oct. 6. Registered an assist and five total shots in the 2018 Knockout Round against the Portland Timbers on Oct. 31.
Made his professional debut as a 21-year-old on March 20, 2016. He has played 54 games and scored eight goals. Mosquera captured the 2017 Clausura title with Millonarios. He made one appearance for the club in Copa Libertadores.
Mosquera began his youth career with Pacifico FC. He then worked his way up through the Millonarios’ youth system before becoming the leading scorer for the club’s Under-20 squad.
