2021 Lineup Notes

FRISCO, Texas - Head coach Marco Ferruzzi makes three changes to his lineup as FC Dallas takes on Austin FC tonight, Oct. 30 at 7PM at Toyota Stadium. Here's the lineup notes, presented by UnitedHealthcare.

PEPI
Ricardo Pepi returns to the starting lineup for the first time in three games after suffering a foot injury while on international duty with the U.S. Men's National Team. The 18-year-old replaces Franco Jara as Dallas' center forward and is flanked by Paxton Pomykal and Jáder Obrian on the wings. Pepi has scored a team-high 13 goals from 22 starts this season and has registered a respectable three assists along the way.

Twumasi
Ema Twumasi returns to the Starting XI after missing out on FCD's 2-1 loss to Real Salt Lake midweek due to yellow card accumulation. The 2018 first round SuperDraft pick has found a home at right back this year and started 17 of Dallas' 32 games over the campaign. Twumasi replaces 17-year-old Justin Che who filled in during his one-game absence.

Pomykal
Homegrown Paxton Pomykal is back in the lineup after featuring off the bench in FCD's last outing. The 21-year-old starts at left wing and will look to add to his tally of one goal and one assist so far this season. Look for Pomykal to combine with forward-thinking defender Ryan Hollingshead on the left flank.
