Tesho Akindele, Three Homegrowns Called to International Duty for September FIFA Window

FRISCO – FC Dallas’ Tesho Akindele (Canada), Brandon Servania (U.S. U-20s), Paxton Pomykal (U.S. U-20s) and Bryan Reynolds (U.S. U-19s) have been called in to represent their respective countries during the FIFA International break running Sept. 3-11.

U.S. U-20 head coach Tab Ramos has also called in FC Dallas Homegrown Chris Richards, who is currently on loan with FC Bayern Munich through the elite player development partnership between the two clubs.


Akindele and Canada will face U.S. Virgin Islands in the opening match of the 2018-2019 Concacaf Nations League Qualifying on Sept. 9 at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. Canada will also face Dominica at BMO Field on Oct. 16, St. Kitts and Nevis on Nov. 18 and French Guiana on March 26, 2019.

The U.S. U-20s and U-19s will host the 2018 U-20 Men’s Invitational tournament at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. from Sept. 7-11. The U.S. U-20 and U-19 Men’s National Teams will face Venezuela and Jamaica, as well as square off against each other in the round-robin style competition.


Each of the match days – Sept. 7, 9 and 11 – will feature a doubleheader (10 AM and 3:30 PM CT) with the U-20 MNT playing the second game each day. The winner of the competition will be based on total points. Tie-breakers will first be overall goal difference and then total goals scored.
