As 2015 comes to a close, one FC Dallas Academy player could be the organization’s last international call-up of the year.
U-13 midfielder Beni Redzic has been called in by U.S. Under-15 Boys’ head coach John Hackworth to participate in the National Team camp for the 2002 birth cycle. The ’02 team will gather in Sunrise, Fla. on Dec. 13-20 and play an intra-squad match on Dec. 16 before playing matches against Kendall FC and Weston FC on Dec. 19.
In seven games during the 2015-16 season, Redzic has picked up 7 goals and 3 assists as the U-13’s head into their final weekend before the holiday break atop their division in the Texas Pre-Academy League with a record of 5-2-0.
The full camp roster includes 32 U.S. Soccer Development Academy players in the U-14 level and four non-Development Academy players.
