FRISCO, Texas - North Texas SC and FC Dallas Academy midfielder Beni Redzic has been named to USL League One's Team of the Week following his two-goal performance against Chattanooga Red Wolves SC in Week 4.
Redzic was a halftime-substitute Saturday against the Red Wolves but that didn't stop him from stealing the headlines with his second and third goals of the season to earn North Texas a 2-2 draw at Globe Life Park. The 17-year-old also completed 15 of his 17 passes and created two goal-scoring chances to earn his first Team of the Week nomination.
