Dallas Burn Primary Jersey | 1998-99

This Dallas Burn primary kit was the home jersey for the 1998 and 1999 seasons. It was the third primary jersey in the club’s history and the first to have the club’s name – Dallas Burn – on the front center of the shirt instead of the team’s logo. It was also the first jersey to feature a true folded collar. Like the 1997 jersey before it, this shirt features a deep red color accented by thin horizontal lines (thin hoops!) of black and wasabi green. Although it’s quite similar to the also fantastic ’97 kit, the lack of the logo makes the front a little cleaner and all the following Burn jerseys followed suit. This classy and timeless jersey is the quintessential Burn Kit.

FC Dallas Primary Jersey | 2006-07

The 2006-07 primary jersey was the second FC Dallas home kit following the club’s rebrand in 2005. Although similar to the 2005 jersey (which saw the debut of the red and white hoops), the second version perfected it with the addition of red paneling on the upper shoulders while still keeping the blue adidas stripes as an accent color. This jersey also featured the adidas “Teamgeist” template on the outer edges containing the hoops, a popular adidas style that mirrored the pattern on the brand’s official 2006 FIFA World Cup match ball.

FC Dallas Secondary Jersey | 2008-09

The third away kit of the FC Dallas era was the first to feature blue and white hoops. The previous two secondary jerseys were different versions of gray and white while the 08-09 version strayed to incorporate the club’s second color. A near mirror-image of the club’s home jersey during these years, this secondary jersey featured red adidas accent stripes on the shoulders as well as a red logo in the center. The blue away color was so popular that the next five FC Dallas secondary kits used blue as their main shade. This was also the first Dallas jersey to feature the “LH” patch (on the right sleeve) as a nod to the club’s patriarch Lamar Hunt.

FC Dallas Secondary Jersey | 2021-22

The 2021-22 FC Dallas secondary jersey (officially named “The Community Kit) was unlike anything the club had worn before. Although blue was the standard color for Dallas away jerseys, this kit featured a much lighter powder blue as a nod to the Dallas Tornado, the city’s North American Soccer League franchise that played from 1967 to 1981. Along with the powder blue colorway, the jersey also featured red and dark blue flakes across the front and shoulders—matching the red and dark blue colors of the neckline. With the unique pattern and color, this FC Dallas jersey was truly one of a kind.

FC Dallas/Dallas Burn Alternate Jersey | 2025

FC Dallas’ most recent jersey is also already an all-time great. Dubbed the “Legacy Kit” this FC Dallas jersey is a throwback to the club’s Dallas Burn era, specifically the 1998-99 Primary Jersey (discussed above). The 2025 reimagination of the ’98 kit flips the original color scheme to feature a solid black background accented by red and wasabi green horizontal stripes (hoops, if you will). With the Dallas Burn name and logo plus FC Dallas’ LH patch on the bottom left corner, this kit is the perfect blend of the club’s two eras.
