FC Dallas signed its 18th Homegrown player, Reggie Cannon on Dec. 22, 2016.
This is Cannon’s first season as a professional… The 18-year-old gained valuable experience in his first preseason with FC Dallas this spring, logging 506 minutes in matches against some of the top clubs in Argentina’s first division.

Born in Chicago, lived in Pittsburgh and Colorado, before moving to Dallas... Played with a recreational team named “Predators“ in Dallas before joining the FC Dallas Academy... Enjoyed track and field, football, baseball and basketball before deciding to focus on soccer because of the freedom the game offered... Was always a centerback before coming to the FC Dallas Academy - where he was molded into an attacking right back... Studied computer information systems at UCLA... Chose to attend UCLA for a season instead of signing a professional contract after high school in order to mature and get his college career started... Favorite meal is a ham, egg and cheese sandwich... Favorite right back is Dani Alves.
