Almaguer joined the FC Dallas organization in 2010 and played in its Development Academy for six seasons before debuting for North Texas SC in its inaugural game on March 30, 2019. He scored his first professional goal for North Texas SC on May 22 in a 3-1 victory over Forward Madison FC at Toyota Stadium. A versatile player, Almaguer has played at left back, right back and center midfield for North Texas SC.
