North Texas SC Forward Gibran Rayo Named to USL League One 2021 All-League Second Team

FRISCO, Texas - North Texas SC forward Gibran Rayo was included in the USL League One All-League Second Team for his standout performances over the 2021 campaign. Rayo, 20, was a near ever-present figure in North Texas SC's lineups, featuring in 27 of the club's 29 games (including 23 starts)
Career Summary

Rayo signed with North Texas on Jan. 15, 2020. He spent three seasons in the FC Dallas Academy after joining from Sporting United SC in 2017. In 2019, he featured in 12 USL League One games (four starts) while still in the FCD Academy. Rayo scored his first professional goal in North Texas’ 5-0 win over South Georgia Tormenta FC on August 27 at Toyota Stadium. The forward has represented Mexico at the Under 16 level and most recently the United States at the U-18 level.
