FRISCO - The FC Dallas WPSL season is in the middle of a four-game road trip and has been picking up points in every match. They defeated cross-state rival Oklahoma City FC 3-1 on Sunday. They have now gained seven points in their first three road matches and will finish out the stretch on Friday in Wichita.

FC Dallas opened up the scoring against OKC in the sixth minute after a goal by Oral Roberts and FC Dallas Product Tahlor Lyman. It was Lyman's first game of the season.

Later in the half, Halee Sowinski found the back of the net off a pass from Brittany Martin.

After FC Dallas scored an own-goal early in the second half, Sowinski struck gold again in the 80th minute to give the team a 3-1 lead.

"I am very proud of how the team is working together,” Head Coach Tyler Powell said. “These players have a very deep love of the game and are forming a strong bond with each other.  The staff can see the group connecting more and more with each practice and game."

Sowinski was named the Player of the Match for her two-goal performance.

FC Dallas is now the only team in the Southwest Conference to not have a loss this season. They are sitting in second place in the conference with 10 points through four games and have played two less games than first-place FC Wichita and its 12 points.
