Air Zimmerman was in full flight yet again at Toyota Stadium on Saturday night and as a result, Walker's landed himself a spot on Team of the Week for Week 30.
With his fourth goal of the season (all assisted by Mauro Diaz) in the 39th minute, Zimmerman scored the lone goal in the match for Dallas en route to a 1-0 victory over the LA Galaxy. The defender also made 2 tackles, 4 clearances and 3 interceptions as FCD earned their 11th clean sheet on the season, the second-highest mark in MLS.
Zimmerman, in his first full season as a starter, is tied for the MLS lead in goals by a defender and is already tied for 3rd all-time in FCD defender scoring with 6 goals overall behind Matt Hedges (11) and Drew Moor (8).
