The FC Dallas Foundation and Baylor University have teamed up to support The Welman Project, a Fort Worth-based nonprofit on a mission to fill classrooms, not landfills! Through creative reuse, The Welman Project transforms surplus business materials into free classroom supplies for teachers, giving educators the tools and inspiration they need to provide hands-on learning opportunities for every student. Their Educator Warehouse serves as a completely free resource where teachers can “shop” for materials that spark creativity and encourage learning.
This season, we’re rallying our FC Dallas community to give back and make a difference. From November 17 – 26, we’ll be collecting new books and school supplies to benefit The Welman Project’s Educator Warehouse. Donations can be dropped off at the Front Office of Toyota Stadium.
Please note: All donated items must be NEW and in their original packaging to ensure they’re ready for classroom use.
