Sporting KC and Real Salt Lake had big wins this week adding on 3 points to their totals, keeping SKC atop of the leaderboard in the West. RSL continues their climb, moving from 9th all the way up to 4th place with a 2-1 win over Vancouver, shifting every team in between down a position over the weekend.
Portland Timbers (3-2 to Orlando), the Whitecaps, and both LA teams all took Ls this week, with the Galaxy falling 2-0 to Sporting and LAFC getting shutout by Atlanta United FC, 5-0.
Dallas fell one spot this week with Real Salt Lake leapfrogging them in points. The Houston Dynamo and Seattle Sounders FC had bye weeks and will return to action in Week 7.
