FC Dallas returned home from a six-day, two-country marathon of a road trip on Sunday night having secured CONCACAF Champions League qualification in Guatemala and the Supporters' Shield in Los Angeles, but upon returning back home to DFW, they still had one stop left to make.
Before returning to Toyota Stadium, the FC Dallas team bus made a detour at about 1:00AM last night to the house of Mauro Diaz. Armed with a few bottles of champagne, the entire squad poured out of the bus and woke up the Argentine surprising him with a champagne celebration as he recovers from Achilles surgery earlier this week.
It just doesn't get much more awesome than that.
