FRISCO − FC Dallas pocketed three more points and kept Fortress Frisco in tact for the 2017 season. The team hosted Minnesota United FC for the first time in front of a sold out crowd at Toyota Stadium. Jesse Gonzales, Javier Morales (making his first MLS appearance for FC Dallas), and Michael Barrios all had a big night. While Jesse Gonzalez had a monster night on defense with recorded five saves, the goals scored by Michael Barrios and Javier Morales (their first of the 2017 season) helped secure the victory over the Loons.
Fans shared their excitement throughout the game and even after the win, when team president Dan Hunt and Maxi Urruti made appearances in the WinStar World and Resort Winners Club. The players even shared took to social media to share their excitement after the win, and Atiba Harris shared an important milestone on Twitter.
