FRISCO, Texas - Third-place FC Dallas embarks on its final road trip of the regular season to face the Colorado Rapids this Saturday, Oct. 1 at 2:30PM at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.

TV (English): Saturday's match will be shown on UniMás and TUDN in Spanish and Twitter in English.
LISTEN

STORY LINES
Home Playoff Chances
FC Dallas has an opportunity to clinch a home playoff game with a win over Colorado Rapids Saturday afternoon. The second, third and fourth place finishers in each conference earn home field advantage for the first round of the playoffs (first place has a bye) and Dallas sits in third place with 50 points and two games remaining. If Dallas beats Colorado this Saturday, the club will be on 53 points points and secure a top-four finish ahead of chasers LA Galaxy, Minnesota United and Portland Timbers. Dallas could also clinch a home playoff game with a tie IF those three teams all drop points this weekend...but that's unlikely.
On the Brink of History
Jesús Ferreira is on the brink of making FC Dallas history. The Homegrown forward tied the club's single-season scoring record of 18 goals (set by Jason Kreis in 1999 and Kenny Cooper in 2008) with a brace against LAFC earlier this month. Ferreira recently returned from international duty with the U.S. Men's National Team and has two more games to stamp his name in FC Dallas history with a 19th regular season goal.
The Familiar Rapids
The Colorado Rapids have to familiar faces among their ranks. Longtime FCD winger Michael Barrios and former Dallas Designated Player Bryan Acosta joined the Rapids during the last two offseasons. Both players are regular starts for the Rapids this season so there's a strong chance they'll feature Saturday afternoon. While Colorado has already been eliminated from playoff contention, it's likely Barrios and Acosta will still want to get one over their former club.
