CURRENT FORM

  • FC Dallas is coming off a win that broke a six-game winless streak that started with their last match against San Jose on April 27th. Dallas has been working with a very fluid roster throughout the past few games while missing multiple key pieces due to injuries and international call-ups. San Jose is coming off a draw against D.C. United, after back to back wins the previous weeks.

WONDOLOWSKI HEATING UP

  • Chris Wondolowski has scored 7 goals in the past 3 games for the Earthquakes. The veteran went seven games without a start as the Quakes climbed out of an 0-4-0 record to start the season, but in three straight starts since, has accounted for every single San Jose goal.

ROSTER FLUIDITY

  • FC Dallas continues to see their roster lose depth as international call-ups continue to pull players from the midfield. FC Dallas will continue to miss Paxton Pomykal, Edwin Cerrillo and Brandon Servania as they play through the U-20 World Cup and Pablo Aranguiz, who left before the Seattle match. They will now be missing Bryan Acostaand Carlos Gruezo, who have been called up to their respective national teams as well.

SAN JOSE REGAINS KEY PIECES

  • San Jose will regain both midfielder Cristian Espinoza and defender Tommy Thompson after yellow card accumulation suspensions. Espinoza has been a crucial piece of San Jose’s lineup, starting all but 2 games this season and recorded a majority of San Jose’s shots on goal. Thompson has started all but 4 games.
