REPORT | Hedges & Zimmerman called into USMNT January Camp

When Bruce Arena was announced as the new U.S. Soccer head coach, many speculated if this was the time when Matt Hedges, the 2016 MLS Defender of the Year, would finally get a true chance with the USMNT.

That seems to be the case and he's bringing a friend with him.

ESPN's Doug McIntyre is reporting that Hedges and Zimmerman will be called up for the January camp. One friendly with Serbia in late January is set for San Diego with another friendly rumored to still be on the books.
