Fireworks were flying both on and off the field in FC Dallas' Fourth of July win over Orlando City SC at home in front of a sold out crowd - the 4-0 shutout set a new record with a 15-match home unbeaten streak, the longest in franchise history and tied for the longest active streak in the MLS. Walker Zimmerman recorded one goal in the game and also attempted a pretty sick bicycle kick but unfortunately he couldn't get enough power to hit the back of the net, and Mauro Diaz was also impressive with two assists, giving him nine total assists this season, second only to Red Bull midfielder Sacha Kljestan's 10. The win also boosted their power rankings, which you can read below.

POWER RANKINGS RECAP: Week 17 pres. by Texas Health Ben Hogan Sports Medicine -

MLSSOCCER.COM: 2 (Last week 2)

"They're now 5-1-2 in their last eight, with a +9 goal differential - and, presumably, more goal-scoring help on the way now that the transfer window is open. They've already bolstered the defensive corps a bit as well. Dallas have the feel of a boulder starting to roll downhill..."

Soccer America: 2 (Last week 2)

"Defenders Walker Zimmerman and Matt Hedges accounted for two of the goals and Mauro Diaz picked up two assists as FCD won a second straight game. Holding Orlando City SC to zero shots on goal also deserves attention."

ESPNFC.com: 1 (Last week 5)

"When FC Dallas is at their best, invariably at home, they can do what they did to Orlando on Monday - dominate for 90 minutes. The issue in north Texas isn't talent, it's consistency."
