FC Dallas has acquired center back Joshué Quiñónez on loan from Ecuador’s Serie A Barcelona SC Guayaquil for the remainder of the 2022 MLS season, the club announced today. Quiñónez will occupy an international roster slot and will be added to the roster pending receipt of his P-1 Visa and International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

FC Dallas has signed 2022 MLS SuperDraft pick Tsiki Ntsabeleng to a one-year contract with club options for the 2023, 2024 and 2025 seasons, the club announced today. Ntsabeleng will occupy an international roster spot.

FC Dallas has acquired left back Marco Farfan from Los Angeles FC in exchange for defender Ryan Hollingshead, the club announced today.

FC Dallas has signed Paul Arriola to a new four-year contract with a club option for the 2026 season, the club announced today. Per team policy, additional terms will not be disclosed.

FC Dallas has signed winger Alan Velasco as a Young Designated Player for a club record fee from Independiente. The Argentine winger signed a four-year contract with a club option for the 2026 season. Velasco will occupy an international roster slot and will be added to the roster pending receipt of his P-1 Visa and International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

FC Dallas has acquired a 2022 international roster spot from Seattle Sounders FC in exchange for $250,000 in 2022 General Allocation Money (GAM).

FC Dallas has signed 2022 MLS SuperDraft pick Lucas Bartlett (1st round, 6th overall) to a one-year contract with club options for the 2023, 2024 and 2025 seasons, the club announced.

FC Dallas has acquired U.S. Men’s National Team winger Paul Arriola from D.C. United in exchange for $1.5 million in General Allocation Money (GAM) in 2022 and $500,000 in GAM in 2023, the club announced today. D.C. United will also retain 30 percent of any transfer value if FC Dallas transfers Arriola to a team outside of MLS and could receive up to an additional $300,000 in GAM if Arriola reaches certain performance-based metrics while with FC Dallas.

FC Dallas has signed goalkeeper Maarten Paes on a short-term loan until July 2022 from Eredivisie’s FC Utrecht. Paes will occupy an international roster slot and will be added to the roster pending receipt of his P-1 Visa and International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

FC Dallas has signed Homegrown forward Jesús Ferreira to a new four-year contract with a club option for the 2026 season, the club announced.

FC Dallas selected Isaiah Parker (3rd overall, Saint Louis University), Lucas Bartlett (6th overall, St. John’s University) and Katlego “Tsiki” Ntsabeleng (28th overall, Oregon State University) in the first round, Alec Smir (62nd overall, University of North Carolina), Chase Niece (66th overall, Saint Louis University) and Holland Rula (87th overall, Wake Forest University) in the third round of the 2022 MLS SuperDraft presented by adidas on January 11.

FC Dallas has reached a transfer agreement with FC Augsburg of Germany’s Bundesliga for Homegrown forward Ricardo Pepi, the team announced today. The move is the largest transfer in FC Dallas history for a player.

Major League Soccer announced today the list of players available for selection in the 2021 Expansion Draft, where expansion side Charlotte FC will have the opportunity of selecting up to five players from the eligible list on Tuesday, Dec. 14 at 6PM CT. The list includes 258 available players.

Dallas acquires an international roster spot from Nashville SC in exchange for $250,000 in GAM

FC Dallas named Nico Estévez the eighth full-time head coach in club history on December 2, 2021. Estévez joins FC Dallas from U.S. Soccer where he served as an assistant coach for the U.S. Men’s National Team. The 41-year-old has more than 22 years of coaching experience that includes stints in Spain’s La Liga and Major League Soccer.

Dallas exercised contract options for midfielders Edwin Cerrillo and Brandon Servania, and defenders Ryan Hollingshead, Eddie Munjoma, Nkosi Tafari and Ema Twumasi.

FC Dallas has declined contract options for goalkeeper Phelipe Megiolaro, defenders Bressan, Caiser Gomes and Johnny Nelson, and midfielders Bryan Acosta, Andrés Ricaurte and Freddy Vargas. Goalkeeper Kyle Zobeck is out of contract.
