North Texas SC Signs Midfielder Blaine Ferri

Frisco, Texas - North Texas SC has signed midfielder Blaine Ferri, pending league and U.S. Soccer Federation approval.


Ferri, 20, joins the club for the 2021 season with an option for the 2022 season.


A Southlake, Texas native, Ferri played for Solar SC before joining the youth system of SpVgg Greuther Fürth in Germany. After playing 19 matches for Greuther Fürth II in Germany’s fourth division, Ferri returned to the U.S. and signed for Fort Lauderdale CF, the USL League One affiliate of MLS side Inter Miami CF. Ferri played in all 16 games for Fort Lauderdale over the 2020 League One campaign.


Internationally, Ferri has represented the U.S. at the U-15, U-17 and U-19 age brackets and competed in all five games for the U.S. at the 2017 U-17 FIFA World Cup in India. In all, Ferri made 49 appearances for the U.S. youth sides, scoring four goals.
