Three FC Dallas players were named to Bruce Arena’s preliminary roster in center back Matt Hedges, midfielder Kellyn Acosta and goalkeeper Jesse Gonzalez.

Acosta and Hedges are both cap-tied to the United States and appeared in Saturday’s friendly with Venezuela. Gonzalez, with dual-eligibility of both the U.S. and Mexico, has pledged his allegiance to Mexico, but would be cap-tied to the United States should he represent the country in the Gold Cup. The U.S. will begin Gold Cup training on June 25 in Nashville, Tenn. The final 23-man roster must be turned into CONCACAF before June 27. All players on the final roster have to be pulled from the preliminary roster.
