There was plenty to talk about this week as far as the media was concerned, especially considering that two FC Dallas players were called into U.S. Men’s National Team camp; the team took the lead in Group C of CONCACAF Champions League play; and then mounted a dramatic come-from-behind win on the road in Kansas City.

FC Dallas captain Daniel Hernandez was visited by his hometown radio station KTBB-FM/AM Radio from Tyler, Texas the weekend of August 20. Sports Producer Mike Alazmora conducted interviews in both Spanish and English covering FC Dallas’ 1-0 loss to the Seattle Sounders, FC Dallas’ 1-0 win over Pumas UNAM in CONCACAF Champions League play and the importance of picking up points during the team’s current nine-game road trip.

Thursday, August 26: Jersey sponsor update (Dallas Business Journal)
FC Dallas president and CEO Doug Quinn tells the Dallas Business Journal in this article that getting a jersey deal done is “only a matter of time.” According to the DBJ piece, the sponsorship is valued at $3.2 million per year and is a top priority for the organization.
