Michael Barrios Named to MLS Team of the Week for Week 25

When you score two amazing goals that earn a win against your in-state rivals, people are going to notice.

Michael Barrios is not only up for Goal of the Week (which you can vote for him in here), but was also named to Team of the Week for his Derby Brace. He put Dallas ahead less than a minute after Mauro Diaz leveled the match from the penalty spot, connecting on the end of a 60-yard ball from Maynor Figueroa and arcing a shot past Joe Willis. Then, in the 79th minute he put the game away with an incredible curling ball from outside the box that he tucked just inside the far post.

The winger leap-frogged Maxi Urruti as Dallas' leading goal scorer and surpassed his 7-goal season from 2015 with goals 7 and 8 on Saturday.
