FRISCO – FC Dallas' Maxi Urruti was named to MLS' Team of the Week for Week 21 following his performance in FCD's 2-0 win over Vancouver Whitecaps Sunday afternoon.
Urruti scored his sixth goal of the season in the 59th minute, just two minutes after Kellyn Acosta put the side up 1-0. He has already surpassed his total of four from last season with ten fewer games played.
The Argentine registered five shots and was a perfect nine-for-nine passing on the day to help his squad.
Mauro Diaz was named to the Team of the Week bench for his efforts, which included an assist and 50-of-62 passing.
