After his two-assist performance against Real Salt Lake on Saturday, Mauro Diaz has been named to the MLS Team of the Week for week 16.
On top of his two assists, including a prolific bicycle pass that led to Castillo's goal, Diaz also had three chances created. Diaz is now second in the league in assists with seven.
This is Diaz' first appearance on the Team of the Week since week four after his role in FC Dallas' 3-0 win over D.C. United.
