TORQUATO GETS FIRST SEASON START
Homegrown fullback Josh Torquato was named to the starting eleven for the first time this season after appearing in five matches last season. The 19-year-old U.S. youth international recently featured for the U.S. youth national team for the Concacaf U20 Championship where he scored twice as team USA finished runner-up.Â
THE ROAD TRIP CONCLUDES IN ST. LOUISÂ
FC Dallas concludes its 11-game road trip across all competitions next Sunday, August 30 when it takes on St. Louis CITY SC at Energizer Park. In the 11-game stretch, Dallas will log over 15,000 miles traveled. FC Dallas is 6-4-2 away from home in MLS play this season. Its six road wins are tied with San Jose for the second most in MLS, behind Inter Miami’s eight.
THE NEW TOYOTA STADIUM EAST SIDE IS HERE
The new East Side—part of the more than $200 million transformation of Toyota Stadium—will open to fans on September 5, when FC Dallas hosts Sporting Kansas City in the club’s first match at Toyota Stadium since May, following the FIFA World Cup break.Â
