URUGUAY NOMÁ

Attacking midfielder Joaquín Valiente scored his first FC Dallas goal in the 17th minute off an assist from captain Ramiro. Valiente became the 11th different goal scorer for Dallas this season. The Uruguayan midfielder leads the team in assists (8) and key passes (27). Valiente assisted both of Musa’s goals in tonight’s match, marking the second time this season he has recorded an assist in back-to-back matches.

HISTORY MADE

Forward Petar Musa scored his league-leading 15th and 16th goals of the season and remains atop the Golden Boot race presented by Audi. With his 15th goal, Musa became the fifth player in MLS history to score at least 15 goals in each of his first three MLS seasons, joining Josef Martinez (2017-19), David Villa (2015-17), Sebastian Giovinco (2015-17) and Raúl Díaz Arce (1996-98). Musa continues to climb the FC Dallas all-time scoring list and now sits three goals behind Jesús Ferreira's 53 regular-season goals for second place in club history.

MLS FASTEST TO 50 GOALS

Petar Musa reached 50 MLS regular-season goals in his 78th appearance, becoming the fastest player in FC Dallas history to reach the milestone. Musa also moved into the top 10 among the fastest players in MLS history to score 50 regular-season goals.

ROAD DAWGS

With tonight’s 4-3 win over Real Salt Lake, FC Dallas earned its sixth road victory of the season, tying the club’s post-shootout era record achieved during the 2007, 2011 and 2018 seasons. The Hoops are two road wins away from tying the club’s all-time record of eight, set in 1997 when the Dallas Burn won eight games away from home (including shootout wins).

RAN TO THE RESCUE

Midfielder Ran Binyamin scored his first MLS goal in dramatic fashion, finding the winner in the second minute of second-half stoppage time to give FC Dallas a 4-3 victory. Ramiro recorded his second assist of the night on Binyamin’s goal. Binyamin became the 12th different FC Dallas player to score this season.
