CERRILLO RETURNS TO STARTING XI

This week we see the Homegrown midfield return to a look we've seen before. Edwin Cerrillo has been seen as a flex player between North Texas Soccer Club and the FC Dallas eighteen. Paxton Pomykal returns from international duty and continues to be a constant along the midfield as well as Jesus Ferreira who has dropped from striker to a top midfield offensive pressure over the past few games.

DON'T MESS WITH SUCCESS

Along the top of the field we've seen success with this trio and a high level of scoring against the opponents. Zdenek Ondrasek has been an influence for not only energy but in goal scoring as he has shown his power against Montreal, Houston, and Cincinnati. Dominique Badji has a cohesive play style with his teammates across the top and midfield showing to be a good passer. Michael Barrios continues to also be a constant for the FC Dallas offensive through the season.

BACKLINE CONSISTENCY

As the offense continues to grow the back line has stayed consistent in shutting down opponents, and Jesse Gonzalez blocks shots and keeps the opponent having to work to find opportunities. Reggie Cannon, Ryan Hollingshead, Reto Ziegler, and Matt Hedges have a clear understanding of what works across the back field and what they need from each other in order to block opponents.
