THE NO. 10

For the first time since his acquisition, FCD will line up in a 4-2-3-1 with Pablo Aránguiz pulling the strings in the middle. In his first two MLS matches, the 21-year-old has moved centrally after starting as a false winger on the left, but tonight marks the first time we see his assignment from the get-go in the attacking midfield. Against a Dynamo defensive midfield that likes to push into the attack and a back line that sits deeper in the field, Aránguiz will try to find that open space and spring either Tesho Akindele or Michael Barrios on the flanks.

DERBY DEBUTS

Aránguiz, Dominique BadjiJimmy Maurer and Marquinhos Pedroso will all make their Texas Derby debuts in Leg Two. Badji has faced the Dynamo multiple times as a member of the Colorado Rapids, but tonight will get his first taste of the Lone Star State rivalry. Maurer was on the bench for the July 21 meeting, while Pedroso was in the stands as a traveling member during his first weeks with the club, but did not appear in the 18.

MISSING FACES

Roland Lamah will not appear in a league match for the first time this season after picking up a minor knock in training earlier this week. In his place, Tesho Akindele returns to the lineup after missing last week's 18-man roster.

Reto Ziegler was back in the fold for FCD after his red-card suspension last weekend, but also tweaked a small injury and was held out of the lineup as a precaution. Coming off a strong performance against Minnesota in the middle, Maynor Figueroa will slot in alongside Matt Hedges once again.

Jesse Gonzalez is still getting a late-season break in action and Maurer will make his second straight start after his team-best fourth shutout of the year against the Loons.
