FRISCO - The time for talking is just about over. On Tuesday night at Toyota Stadium, FC Dallas will play for their first trophy in 19 years hosting New England in the 103rd Lamar Hunt US Open Cup Final.
At Monday's press conference, Oscar Pareja and Kellyn Acosta reiterated just how important it is to bring home the LHUSOC on Tuesday.

"It is the goal. The objectives that we've had from the beginning," said Pareja. "We have a model here that we work every morning to get prepared but at the end of the day, it's just fantastic for us [to have the opportunity] to give trophies to this franchise and club. This is the commitment what we have this is what we work for."
Pareja has been with FCD as a player or coach for all but two of the 19-year trophy drought, but Acosta has won silverware at the youth level winning the 2012 USSDA U-18 National Championship. As a Homegrown, the chance to lift a major trophy in front of the home fans, something that has never been done before in franchise history, is an amazing thought.
"We've had goals since the beginning of the year to lift trophies. We have a great opportunity tomorrow to do so and I know the guys are excited and motivated to go there," said Acosta. "For me personally, as a Homegrown player to lift up the trophy, I'd be very excited to do so. The coaching staff has been preparing us all year and hopefully we can reward it tomorrow."
Tickets for Tuesday's match are sold out, but $9.97 SRO tickets are available. The club announced today that there will be $5 food and drink specials while gates will open 90 minutes before kickoff at 9:00PM.
