FC Dallas will be the healthier side for #FCDvSJ Saturday night at Toyota Stadium, with San Jose Earthquakes ruling five players out with injury.
San Jose Earthquakes
OUT: Quincy Amarikwa (ACL), Harold Cummings (ankle), Andres Imperiale (ankle), Marc Pelosi (knee), Shea Salinas (knee).

At first, the injury list looks bad for Dominic Kinnear’s team. However, the five players listed as out for Saturday’s game have combined for just seven appearances and one start in 2017.
All of those appearances belong to midfielder Shea Salinas, who was born in Lubbock and grew up in Grapevine. Salinas hasn’t appeared for San Jose since being substituted at halftime of a 2-0 loss at Houston on April 22.
The other four injured San Jose players have not played a single minute for the club this season, with defender Harold Cummings lost for the season after he underwent surgery in March for a fractured fibula and a high ankle sprain.
FC Dallas
OUT: Mauro Diaz (Achilles tendon), Paxton Pomykal (knee surgery).
Mauro Diaz continues to work towards a return to the first team. Diaz is ever closer to completing his comeback from last October’s torn Achilles’ tendon, and he's working to regain his match fitness before making a full return.
A slight meniscus tear in the left knee of Paxton Pomykal will have the FC Dallas homegrown product out for the next stretch of games. Pomykal, who had just returned to training after suffering a high-ankle sprain while with U.S. U-19 team in Slovakia, was injured during training on Wednesday night.
The 17-year-old had successful surgery Thursday afternoon in Plano, Texas, and is expected to fully recover in four to six weeks.
