INJURY REPORT: FC Dallas vs Real Salt Lake | 6.2.17

FRISCO – With both sides being forced to make adjustments around international call-ups, it is a lucky week for FC Dallas and Real Salt Lake. Neither team has a lengthy injury list, but FC Dallas will be missing a key figure.

INJURY REPORT: FC Dallas vs Real Salt Lake | 6.2.17 -

Real Salt Lake

OUT: David Horst (Knee), Chad Barrett (Knee), Luis Silva (Marriage nuptials)

QUESTIONABLE: Jordan Allen (Quad strain), Demar Phillips (Hamstring)

Real Salt Lake will again be without veterans David Horst and Chad Barrett. Barrett and Horst, both 31, underwent successful surgeries on their knees in early April that put the pair out for a long period of time. They are expected to make full recoveries.

Midfielder Luis Silva will be out for RSL. He will be tying the knot.

Forward Jordan Allen was subbed off from a match with the Real Monarch’s in the 41st minute after he went down with contact. He is still trying to recover from a right quad strain on Match day two that has sidelined him. Defender Demar Philips might make his return from a hamstring injury that occurred in May. Phillips has played nine matches with RSL this season, and has tallied an assist.

FC Dallas

OUT: Paxton Pomykal (Ankle strain), Walker Zimmerman (MCL strain)

It is a short list for FC Dallas but with center back Matt Hedges already out training with the U.S. Men’s National Team, the backline will be shifting around. Walker Zimmerman left the first Texas Derby of 2017 Sunday night early with a strain in his left MCL.

Paxton Pomykal continues his recovery from knee surgery. It is expected for his recovery to last about three more weeks.
